I want to get my own website going. Last hosting i went to (1and1.com) was hard and it sucked.
Does anyone know a good webhosting?
I want to be able to enter my own scripts as well. HTML, php, python ect ect.

set up a profile for your business on myspace

start a rewards program for customers along the lines of if they refer a friend and that leads to a sale they’ll get a discount etc… word of mouth is the cheapest form of advertising.

I asked this question before but got no satisfactory response. I am looking for an economic web host. The last time the responses included a host that does not support windows and a host that precludes nudity (since my site will have some nudity this is not useful). Your ideas are welcome.

Well…first off, a server that does not support windows simply means that the operating system ON the server is not windows. It does NOT imply that people with windows won’t see your site. It is most likely on a Linux/Unix environment. This means you will have to use PHP instead of ASP, but your server will be more stable, more reliable, and generally better to the users.

In any event..

hostgator.com does not preclude nudity in their TOS, unless it’s a minor (of course..).

They offer Windows and Linux hosting. My advice would be compare the two types with what you want to do and go from there.

Hello. I am going to start creating a personal website. It’s going to be some what like http://www.whateverlife.com with the HTML editing and navigation bar. I need to know a good, professional website hoster that is not too expenive. It should be no more than 12 dollars a month. Also, what are some good website editor programs? Lastly, will you include a link to your website that you created with the program or web host?

Well it depends on which Hosting plan you are. If the hosting plan allowes you to host more then one domain then you can use a function add-on domain. Basically, you get a new domain, then put in the domain name and the info needed. If u want it to redirect to a certain webpage just type in the redirecting fields.
